We’re already in the habit of saying “Thank you for your service” when we meet military personnel. We should also say “Thank you for your service” every time we meet a public school teacher.

Teachers =/= public indoctrination day camps.
I was a cavalry scout from 2002-2007. I’ve never met anyone who liked being thanked for their service. we’re paid shit money to kill illiterate goat herders who will never make in their life what we make for 1deployment Teachers make more than most people do and have 2 months off
