For those of you who saw Democratic candidates speaking from Iowa yesterday at the “Liberty and Justice for All” event, just know that it cost $160,000 to be on the stage.

If you can't fund raise 160K, you're not a viable candidate.

@marwilliamson is this the cost to buy the list or the estimated cost to open two field offices with 10 staff in Iowa?

I’m so sorry to know that the lack of financial support exists for your campaign. I just don’t get that. I would have easily believed that all of your peers in the spiritual community would want to be making sure you succeed and all the celebrities who speak about love,....

It’s essentially a rally. Every candidate has to pay for their rallies,(except tRump, who just screws taxpayers by snubbing his bills). Their have been plenty of free venues for cand. to be heard in Iowa(how was your crowd size?). If your campaign can’t raise 160k, its a hint.

Is $160k was you were quoted to open two field offices in IA & buy the voting rolls for $1500? Because that’s what it took to be on the stage. It took a committment to campaigning in Iowa.
