“For a police officer, wisdom is able to discern when gentle compassion is called for and when fierce compassion is called for.” IMO the same is true as President. Marianne Williamson brings understanding, while maintaining fierce leadership and appropriate action when needed.

I have a great admiration for the Buddhist philosophy. The west qould be greatly benefited if the ancient/eastern/animist theologies were taught here

Obama at his Foundation summit: "This idea of purity and you’re never compromised and you’re politically woke, and all that stuff—you should get over that pretty quickly. The world is messy. There are ambiguities. People who do really good stuff have flaws."

FYI, Columbia Univ psychologist, Helen Shucman wrote “A Course in Miracles” in 1976. She claimed to have channeled Jesus Christ. Marianne Williamson has based ALL her efforts on ACIM. Thus, is she now selling herself as (political) Jesus? NO ONE needs or wants her in the middle.

There is definitely something very wrong with their analytical abilities and the training they get that makes them unable to cope rationally with stress and perceived threats, as is with mental illness. Meditation is part of police training in some cities in India.

You do realize that most of the problems you complain about were justified at some point through someone's religion and spirituality right? Maybe you should read some history before you repeat past mistakes.

Wow - I can hardly get past the first 2 paragraphs of this tragic story without feeling helpless. We really do need a dramatic change. Let’s start with supporting @marwilliamson for #POTUS!

Wow, that was a tough article to read! Increasing police training & adding compassion would definitely be a good thing!
