My father was a fighter for social justice. When my career began he said to me “What happened to you? I raised you to fight the system!” I said “Daddy, I haven’t forgotten. But love is the greatest revolution!” I shared thoughts of him at Howard University youtube.com/8tTjZ8_aEtw

Love doesn’t come from being religious. It comes from being righteous. God is the God of righteousness. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:20

Don’t necessarily have to fight fire with fire but the occasional uppercut to the balls gets your point through every once in awhile.

She needs to lead the revolution. The system is too broken.

We don't need to fight the system. We need to mold the system to fight for us. When you deal in absolutes such as fight against, or fight for you, alienate the most viable and prosperous options that are done through compromise and collaboration.

Marianne is skilled. She's a skilled manipulator, notice how she changes her vernacular, accent and body language based on her audience. Not to mention her go to use of "you already know" which is a typical con man saying that sways weak minded people to agree without challenge.
