The debates are essentially a reality TV show in which the DNC partners with corporate media to choose & exalt the candidates they feel should be in the running. It is an incestuous insider game, perhaps well intentioned on the part of its perpetrators but poisonous to democracy.

Exactly my point about @facebook as well. At least you know in Facebook it’s a Paid Ad. When it’s political marketing disguised as news that’s the real danger.

Noticed on Dem “debates”... no questions about how they plan to grow the economy, increase manufacturing jobs, improve trade deals, reduce regulations to help business, or improve environment for new and small business... just nothing but social partisan crap.

Forget about the debates, our entire system of ELECTIONS and now our GOVERNMENT have been relegated to the sad status of one big reality TV show.

#LetMarianneDebate: Depth, substance, original worldview, intellectual authority, woke - #Marianne Williamson is spiritually pragmatic and NOT your garden variety cookie cutter politician! She offers new paradigms for the healing of an ailing nation. #GreatTruths #LoveWins

Well stated, @marwilliamson - it’s hard to even watch, it seems very staged and it is very rare that they address a question to anyone other than their idea of the front runner, Americans would like to hear from all candidates so that we can form our own opinion

Bernie could have told you that in 2016. Now I just wait to see who the DNC selects for us, since they admitted they do that.

I don't know the answers Marianne. Money shouldn't decide. Populism is truly running amuck I think ... left to right. We don't yet have new institutions or people trusted across a spectrum. And the internet and cable phenomenon is anyone can say anything and be believed.
