A species that displays behavior maladaptive to its survival either evolves beyond that behavior, or it goes extinct. Our outrageous subsidies to the oil and gas industry are an example of maladaptive behavior. rollingstone.com/politics/po…

These subsidies are tax cuts that make domestic production competitive and possible. The alternative is energy dependence of foreign nations and higher gas/electricity prices. + having revenue you can give tax cuts to is better than not having that revenue at all

We the people are rising up to take care of this.

International Monetary Fund says USA has spent more subsidizing fossil fuels in recent years than it has on defense spending: subsidies for coal, oil and gas in the U.S. reached $649 billion in 2015. Pentagon spending that same year was $599 billion. #Marianne2020 #RESET

actually you are displaying behavior that is maladaptive to the survival of any respect anyone could feel for you...you need to evolve beyond your divisive behavior and playing the victim...back pedaling and trite...one can only hope you go extinct...it's enough already

These are not “subsidies” (government funding). These are standard tax deductions EVERY business is allowed. For example: The cost of equipment. Every business is allowed to deduct that. Rolling Stone calls it a “subsidy”. Absurd
