The problem is that positions of power attract the corrupt, the psychopaths, the sociopaths. They infest the highest levels of government, corporations, and celebrity. As long as that is the case, it doesn’t matter if we outnumber them, they can continue to play us.

The way of the heart is very subjective and up for interpretation by the beholder. These days, "following the heart" implies advocating for open borders, pro-criminality, pro-terrorism, pro-murder (abortion) and a bunch of regressive fads which leads to destructive outcomes.
