Then go to her lectures & read her books. Her presidential campaign did not succeed & she’s wasting energy & money & distracting from creating momentum for a DNC viable candidate. There is ZERO reason to continue funding an already failed campaign. Perhaps to sell more books?

MW hasn’t had a “lifetime career in politics & community services.” She’s lectured on the psychological & spiritual self-help program, “A Course in Miracles”, written by someone else, since 1983. She’s written books addressing various topics through that lens as well.

I’ve known Marianne Williamson since the 1980s. I’ve read her book repeatedly. The focus is on saving the USA — not Marianne Williamson.
The problem with the president is not his lack of experience but his lack of ethics, his lack of visceral taste for democracy. George W. Bush and Dick Cheney had a lot of political experience - and they led us into Iraq. How did that work out?

That’s incorrect, @marwilliamson. Donald Trump’s lack of political & government leadership experience have everything to do with his disastrous “presidency”. His lack of moral integrity only exacerbates the chaos. POTUS is the most critical position in the entire free world.

REAL qualifications & leadership experience are crucial. It’s not a position for ‘on the job’ training — especially NOW. It’s not a vanity position — which is an affront to the other 330 million Americans — and the rest of the world.

“Iraq is a war created in Texas.” ~ U.S. Senator (MA) Ted Kennedy Bush/Cheney was an extension of GHWB’s presidency (88-92), including Hussein. That agenda was created long before the U.S. Supreme Court handed them the presidency in 2000. Bush/Cheney was about corruption.

FYI, Dick Cheney had no political nor government experience. He was an oil businessman from Texas. He ran the Bush/Cheney administration. Cheney and Trump are conclusive evidence that government leadership experience is CRITICAL to a successful presidency.

Whatever is happening in the WH has nothing to do with his lack of political experience. It's his character, or lack thereof. Marianne is talking about something much deeper, our democracy itself, that which if we don't stand for, will be lost. It's the primaries. Let's vote.
