The problem is not just that we invaded Iraq. The equal problem is that the American people so easily allowed it to happen.

Wow, that's powerful, Marianne! Listening to you I'm painfully reminded that the US had a president only a short while ago whose mother enabled him to see the world through a very different lense. But Obama did not have moral certitude. You would be different!

We didn’t just do nothing, we piled into busses to San Francisco, marched in protest against invading Iraq, yelled, cried, attended speeches—thousands & thousands of awake ppl. (1 woman lost her life on that trip.) Most media downplayed the great numbers of world protesters.
