By withdrawing from Syria the way we have, the US not only abandons our Kurdish allies -signaling to allies everywhere that we’re untrustworthy - but is also leading to the release of thousands of ISIS prisoners our troops have fought valiantly to destroy. nytimes.com/2019/10/10/us/po…

Now, do Obama. Also, how is it that the Syrian / Iranian faction does not have this ISIS prisoner problem?

I'm getting mixed cosmic signals from you. The cosmos and the good of people should have fixed this. So now you're telling me that the US weaponry IS the answer.

Seemingly the United States should step up, take in Kurdish refugees now fleeing Syria due to actions initiated by the United States. It’s the right thing to do

I've yet to see a Democrat or even most Republicans offer up any alternative timetable or plan for when we ever could exit. You all love dumping our forces into these cesspits and then find excuse after excuse for never allowing the mission to end.

I hate to break it to you Marianne, but the Kurds won't be releasing those prisoners, they will be executing them. Not that that makes it any better, it's pretty horrible both ways.

Syria for Syrians we never should have been there or financed this regime change war

People who think war is good, will find endless """reasons""" why they believe continuing war will create a future idea of 'peace'. Peace is very simple! You just act in the way that shows you desire it more than war. We know you have the potential to see all of this very soon.

so what then--keep the handful of US troops there to get slaughtered which in turn would please the war-hawks at home and thrust us into another f*%&ink ME war? Or pull them out and avoid more conflict?

The real problem, how did we elect tRump in the first place? This is what needs fixed and #Marianne2020 is the ONLY one speaking more to fixing the cause (why we elected tRump) than getting rid of tRump (the symptom of the real problem in the USA)
