I’ve watched the clip several times, and you said no wonder the right says THEY’RE godless. And that’s a true statement, no need to backtrack. You’re an honest person.

As a conservative, I respect you and am more open to simply hearing the ideas you have. The left has too many preconceived assumptions for people with other stances and views. I feel sorry for how poorly and unprofessionally you have been treated in this election by journalists.

No matter what you've been told about the Conservative crowd, it's just not true. We are people just like you are, with different ideas. That's it in a nutshell. We encourage debating other ideas and we except you just the way you are. We also hate being attacked for no reason.

Tea Party conservatives are nice to you because they don't see you as a real threat to Trump's reelection. I'm not trying to be mean by saying that. You should put your support behind someone with a better chance of winning.

Don't let shame of what was said derail the conversations you are having on larger issues. It is clear what was said in the video, context is not. Why go the route of denial? Instead use it as you have in the past to create a conversation on unbalanced values & lack of compassion
