Have your "thoughts and prayers" done anything to end gun violence?

Well the power of the mind hasn't stopped mass shootings. Its a nice thing to do in the privacy of our minds but to tout that as a strategy while running for President is not leadership material. How about adding some plans for how you would tackle climate change?

That statement is better, but semantics *do* matter. People ARE going to assign words like "prayer" to organized religion. If you'd have said "spiritual" it would be less "religion-y". People are tired of those who "pray" as an excuse for inaction. The replies are warranted.

Prayer is not a plan. If it was, I would be a Powerball winner and Trump would have stroked out by now. I don’t want a president guided by wishes and visions.

Isn't your party cute, mocking you for your faith? They are all about "science" when they can beat someone over the head with it, not so much when it proves what gender they are. Maybe a few more dead babies will stop those hurricanes though.

Real spirituality is selfless action. God doesn’t need praise God is God. What god wants is action; people to care for each other & protect each other & love each other . At least that’s what my god wants. Wants For me to act consitant with my prayers! ❤️

@sgoldreich if u r focused only on prayer, then u r losing a lot of the purpose of prayer. For example, in Christian text, the Bible says, “for as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” So, if u concentrate on positive things, u’ll hv + in ur life—the same is true for negative!

Repeat after me: God does not interfere on the physical plane. If you really believe you can pray or think away a hurricane, you are as deranged as Trump. I was sticking up for you until this attack on the left.
