This is such bullshit. So presumably, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and New Orleans didn’t pray hard enough? No, I’m not attacking people of faith; as an ordained minister, I am opposed to the use of faith in oppressive and deeply damaging ways. This is shitty theology.
I was born and raised in Texas so I’ve seen it. Millions of people today are praying that Dorian turn away from land, and treating those people with mockery or condescension because they believe it could help is part of how the overly secularized Left has lost lots of voters.

As an ordained minister, you should know that that’s not what I said. I didn’t say anything even close to that.

The fact that you’ve had to repeatedly say “I didn’t say that” might suggest that you do some inward reflection on your communication skills. So many people think you said what you say you didn’t say, that perhaps the adage “think before you speak” might apply here.
She meant you implied it. Tell me, why did your god refuse to help the Bahamas? I’m sure there were thousands of people praying through that storm. Why did god ignore them? Everyone should keep asking you this until you answer.
