I was born and raised in Texas so I’ve seen it. Millions of people today are praying that Dorian turn away from land, and treating those people with mockery or condescension because they believe it could help is part of how the overly secularized Left has lost lots of voters.

Anything can happen when you pray. Miracles. I lived thru Katrina. My whole family/extended family lost everything but the shirts on our back. It was devastating. I’m grateful it put us on another trajectory. Find the rainbow in the crap.

I lost my son’s twin. All I ever asked God to do was help me find make sense of it. I did not get angry at people who mean well and they say those things because that’s what they were conditioned to say. The hardest prayer for me to pray is “Not my will but your will be done.”
