I was born and raised in Texas so I’ve seen it. Millions of people today are praying that Dorian turn away from land, and treating those people with mockery or condescension because they believe it could help is part of how the overly secularized Left has lost lots of voters.

Pretty cold hearted to say that prayer kept the hurricane from the US....all while the Bahamas had that destructive monster parked overhead for 3 straight days. Btw Dorian just strengthened to a Cat 3 and is posing a serious threat so...maybe just stop.

The hurricane doesn't give a Damn one way or the other. It just is. To prey upon human fears, hopes, dreams? Oh, that's human.

I volunteered at Project Angel Food & respect you for building that organization, but this presidential run seems like a crass vanity project to build your brand. You’re also demonstrating a smugness that’s repelling.

What does secularism have to do with the ability to govern? Prayer is something that is both passive and personal. I pray every day, but I don’t make a public spectacle out of it. Keep religion out of government.
