I was born and raised in Texas so I’ve seen it. Millions of people today are praying that Dorian turn away from land, and treating those people with mockery or condescension because they believe it could help is part of how the overly secularized Left has lost lots of voters.

Oh thank god. We will finally rid the world of hurricanes. Now, did the Bahamians do it wrong, or does god just hate them? And do we know which god it is? Also, how do we get all the praying people to the next hurricane?

Sorry but it seems a bit crazy that you stopped a hurricane with prayers why didn't they pray that it didn't exist at all it would have saved a lot of lives property and time.

Did you ever think because the Christians prayed that it would not hit Florida, God then had to let it sit over the Bahamas for 41 hours so He could change its path? Why didn't they pray that he would make it disappear? Bit selfish to only pray that it doesn't hurt me.

Hard work and planning go hand in hand with prayers. Your tweet is why so many of us 'on the left' don't take you seriously. Go sell your books elsewhere. We have real problems to solve.

Reason states that prayer does nothing. How about actually doing something concrete like helping with rescue operations, donating to relief organizations, organizing a clothing drive? Praying isn't going to do all that now is it?

Lady, you're over. Go away. Or better yet, support whichever Dem gets the nomination with all of your PRAYERS.

So in that case, God decided to spare the praying people in Florida but not the praying people in the Bahamas, and I heard them praying. Explain that.

I think people are mocking the fact that "millions pray"... but "millions" don't do what they can to actually SOLVE the problem. Or they outright deny it. Climate change isn't solved by prayers. It's solved by accepting & using the Science to prevent more disasters.
