No one is “mocking” their faith. We’re saying it’s irresponsible for you to put out there that “prayer” will keep them out of harms way when you know damn right well it WON’T.

You want to pray or visualize because it makes you feel better or it makes others feel better when everyone’s feeling powerless? Go right ahead. But you should not be telling people they can visualize away a nuclear bomb or a hurricane

Marianne, maybe we just want a leader who makes rational decisions based on facts instead of one who just fancy-wishes for things.

Thoughts & prayers haven't stopped earthquakes, flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, violence or war or poverty or racism etc. Prayer is speaking to God. Meditation allows us to listen for an answer. Maybe they should start listening to those answers they refuse to hear.
