I was born and raised in Texas so I’ve seen it. Millions of people today are praying that Dorian turn away from land, and treating those people with mockery or condescension because they believe it could help is part of how the overly secularized Left has lost lots of voters.

Praying is the same as meditating. Different method, same function

Love doesn’t hurt, nor does prayer. Kindness is expansive. Hate is like a black hole in slow motion, pulling in on itself.

They can believe it. They can pray for anything they want. We love all people. Except Nazis. But faith does not override science. It is not condescending to point out that prayer does not affect the weather. It provides benefits for those who pray, but doesn't alter the storm.

I was born, & raised in Louisiana. I can personally attest prayer does not change convection, and global wind currents.

What is extremely sad is that these people have faith and it is built in the spiritual realm which is the unseen. The mockers live in the world they see, which is only illusion. The mockers will realize maybe now maybe later, but definitely someday how foolishly wrong they were💯
