I was born and raised in Texas so I’ve seen it. Millions of people today are praying that Dorian turn away from land, and treating those people with mockery or condescension because they believe it could help is part of how the overly secularized Left has lost lots of voters.

Some people hate faith in any form. Those same people will accuse others of hating people for their faith. It's a bizarre circle of logic that..isn't logical. Whatever happens in your race, Madam..don't cave to those hateful souls.

I would guess that the volume of people who have been sincerely praying Trump away dispeoves your theory. Prove me wrong.

Isn't it so totally without hope that you have this climate change narrative to "save the planet" but the hurricane is an end for mean-spirited opposition? Dorian is the wish fulfillment of climate change disaster. Yep.

Marianne, as a fellow Texan I’m proud of you for expressing love to those who have a spiritual foundation for comfort. We are on opposite sides of the political spectrum, but this is awesome. Not because of the left critique, but the tolerance you put forth. Texas Forever!

I don't really have a problem with people praying, but they should do it in private... and wash their hands afterwards.
