I have been a Republican all my life. In 2016 I registered as a Democrat, so did my parents, my husband, my adult children, my siblings and a whole lot of my friends. We voted in 2018, and the last thing we will never do is vote @GOP. We also pray for everyone not just USA.

Well, we agree. Ridicule is a sure way to alienate people; people needed to win a larger argument in 2020. (This has nothing to do with my personal skepticism re prayer.)

True Christian prayer (I'm not conversant with other groups) asks for God's help to deal with our circumstances. Fake/flake Xians pray hurricanes away & prosperity pray. That's not how it works. That's not how any of it works.

If prayers really prevented bad things from happening, we would have no catastrophes, no deaths, no problems. This kind of crazy talk is what got us Trump.

The rest of us understand actual science. No one mocks people for praying You can't deny that some of these same nutjobs were praying for Dorian to hit "gay" Florida. Spare us the religious crap. Religion of ANY flavor has NO place in government and the workings of ACTUAL science
