Prayer is a power of the mind, and it is neither bizarre nor unintelligent. People of faith belong in the Democratic Party, and will be necessary to the effort if we’re to win in 2020.

But to insinuate that you can manifest what you want through prayer is completely untrue. And has nothing to do with people of faith in the Democratic Party.

I find it incredible how the same people who find strength through meditation or yoga often mock the value of prayer, when prayer is a form of meditation. It centers you. Calms and comforts. Gives perspective. Promotes mindfulness. It's a huge source of strength for so many.

those are fair points, but equally you can't expect anyone to buy that 'the power of the mind' is going to move the hurricane off to the east.

The 2019 Democrat Party is devoid of all Spirituality. It is made up of guilt, resentment, narcissism, and anger. 🔥

🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Sept 26, ‘86 I was struck by a drunk driver. Unconscious 2wks. Broke my neck/ c3+ c5. Shattered fibula/tibia w/80% chance I’d lose leg. Dr’s prepared me 4becoming a paraplegic. THE mind is extraordinary +defies all logic. Those hurt, hurt most- others help to heal.

The over secularization of society is part to blame for our country’s soul sickness and opioid crisis. Spirituality is merely the path of the heart. The heart is what makes life worth living. Prayer is a tool for comforting the heart in times for despair.

People of faith only belong in the Democratic Party if they know how to keep their faith OUT of their political practice.
