Prayer is a power of the mind, and it is neither bizarre nor unintelligent. People of faith belong in the Democratic Party, and will be necessary to the effort if we’re to win in 2020.

But the problem is that politicians who have been duping us time after time use religion and prayer as a tool of inaction. You must understand how crappy it sounds to here another potential politician talking about prayer instead of concrete action.

I’m hardly talking about inaction. The economy. Children. Reparations. Peace. marianne2020.com/issues

I think faith & politics belong together. If people feel uncomfortable with faith, call it a moral compass. Church & state should be separate, but we need integrity in government. I pray for all leaders both political & spiritual every night. Prayer is mindful thinking in action.

Saying that prayer can move a hurricane is bizarre and unintelligent. Sorry.

Exactly. I voted Republican for 20 years (up until Trump). I'm supporting Marianne Williamson in large part because of her vibrant faith. If the Democrats want more Republican and unaffiliated voters they should watch the religious bigotry. 🤷‍♀️

Some of us don't like to mix baby murder with our praying.

You're right prayer is not bizarre. What is bizarre is thinking that collective prayer pushed the hurricane away from the coast.

Prayer only has “positive power” when it’s done in the name of Jesus Christ, in accordance with the word of God. The prayer you are describing sounds like incantations to Satan, a spiritual storm far more harrowing in results and ramifications for your unsuspecting followers...

And this is the reason, you’ll never be POTUS!!
