Paying reparations to Black Americans will not fix any proplem or clean up any part of the American past. The only way to clean up the past is to learn from it and not make the same mistakes.

I disagree. The very idea we could "clean up the past" is but "vanity of vanities" We can alter the present & thus gear for the future thru sustainable policies such as making affirmative action more efficient. The idea of reparations is identity politics fodder (non-sustainable)

The past is dead and gone! But we can certainly learn from it! So stop with the reparation stuff. If you feel like you need to do something let’s stop the black on black crime/ murder. That’s a good start. Start with education school choice
