Our establishment politics is run by elites within elites. DNC poll requirements are a perfect example, a situation with no transparency but with power to block candidates not anointed by a gatekeeper class. In America there should be no gatekeepers; only the people should decide

Tulsi is right about this. I agree with her 100%.

no, she's wrong about it, and i'm saddened you would agree with her. you didn't meet the established criteria. the rules are the rules, and they were not a secret. if you don't like them, don't run.

Wait. Let me understand this. I thought the rules were written by the Founders, who wrote into the Constitution who is qualified to be president. You think the DNC should "rule" this? I think not. It isn't about Tulsi or me or anyone else; it's about our democracy.#notanother2016

What does the constitution have to do with rules to get into a primary debate. I am afraid you aren't knowledgable to run a country, this country.

This is a primary and the rules have been clear. If you aren't polling well enough then that's on you.

You've just disqualified yourself.

You supposed to be the 2020 version of Jill Stein? Hopefully #WeThePeople learned our lesson from last time and do not want 4 more years of trump. We definitely dont want someone w/as little experience as he has/had. Come talk to us after being mayor, city council, state houses

No. They weren’t. This tweet really demonstrates your lack of qualifications for this job.

The founding fathers & Constitution say nothing about political primaries or deciding who will be a party’s nominee for President. Historical precedence & court rulings leave that to the party. This does not prevent anyone from running for President. All you have to do is file

If you don’t have enough supporters to join the debate, how do you plan to have enough supporters to win the nomination or the general election? Cut bait, ma’am.

According to the Founders, many of the people running would not be allowed to vote in an election, much less run. Including yourself. So I’m pretty happy that they didn’t write the rules.
4
Um Marilyn! It’s their party. They get to decide who’s on stage. You are free to run as an independent and hopefully get the networks to give you time. 🙄
