Our establishment politics is run by elites within elites. DNC poll requirements are a perfect example, a situation with no transparency but with power to block candidates not anointed by a gatekeeper class. In America there should be no gatekeepers; only the people should decide

no, she's wrong about it, and i'm saddened you would agree with her. you didn't meet the established criteria. the rules are the rules, and they were not a secret. if you don't like them, don't run.

Wait. Let me understand this. I thought the rules were written by the Founders, who wrote into the Constitution who is qualified to be president. You think the DNC should "rule" this? I think not. It isn't about Tulsi or me or anyone else; it's about our democracy.#notanother2016

Go away, crazy lady.
Are you trying to say something? Do you actually know what you’re talking about?
Okay Marianne just so you know that the original father was so against the very idea political parties that he gave a scathing warning against then. None set any standards as to how political parties must behave. We've even changed how we elect vice presidents. The people chose.
Sure, lady, I remember well that part of the Constitution that ruled on who could be in a political party's TV debate. 🙄

You thought wrong, Moonbeam. You can keep running (you shouldn't) but the DNC is under no obligation by either the Founders or the Constitution to give you stage time with the serious candidates for their party's nomination.

We can let you understand our political process, but we can't make you understand it.

Maybe, Marianne, just maybe try reading the Constitution instead of praying into crystals or whatever the hell you do.

The DNC is not the government.
