Our establishment politics is run by elites within elites. DNC poll requirements are a perfect example, a situation with no transparency but with power to block candidates not anointed by a gatekeeper class. In America there should be no gatekeepers; only the people should decide

At some point though, a candidate has to measure up to a minimum quorum to continue.

Making it to the debates requires some criteria. You and Tulsi had exposure in prior debates and made an impression but not gotten much support. Yes your followers are demonstrably more passionate. But they are few in number. Stop grousing. It’s over.

Washington is toast. Alas. The real action is on the state and local level and it’s not government based for the most part. I laud you, Marianne, for running and getting your ideas and themes out there! You are an inspiration to many - perhaps the most important thing you can do.

Any system that ends up eliminating the likes of @marwilliamson and @TulsiGabbard while keeping a completely disingenuous politician like @KamalaHarris in play, is *completely* broken.

You are 100% on point Marrian. The #CorruptDNC run by corporate sellouts like Howard Dean, who control the polling schemes, think they can rig their game without any accountability. That's how we got Trump.

I knew you as a writer & got astonished when saw you on the dem debate. Keep going. Politics are not only elections - actually, work outside the party structure as a conscience "alarm clock" is even more effective, esp. in these times of XRebellion and rising of the Youngsters.

it's not transparent because the dnc did not announce ahead of time that they would stop conducting polls for 5 weeks before the debate, making it impossible to demonstrate a rise in support.
