The world is roiling from underlying contest between democracy & authoritarianism. From Hong Kong to Kashmir voices of democracy being squelched & the US remains silent; world ‘s dictators know they’ll get no objection from the US. I’m in this race to say what we should be saying

Dictating from USA , it doesn't mean that you know everything about Kashmir... Kashmir is internal matter of India and we know how to handle such situations. We don't need any third party advisors for this... You better to solve your own country issue.

I certainly agree with you on what not only needs to be said but more importantly needs to be DONE. Words are not going to cut it unless you have a feasible, workable, plan behind it.

The US is not ‘silent’. It is actively meddling there, not to promote democracy, but to advance western capitalist interests, like all other US meddling.

I rly struggle with what to think re HK. Complex situation. As westerners I think we have to focus on opposing western meddling, which the US is openly doing. Long hist of creating/fuelling this kind of thing for their own ends, often leading to bloodshed

The US & other major countries keep quiet knowing everything, because they do not wish to jeopardize their access to India's huge free market So what if Kashmiris r under lockdown 4 three weeks, and r being picked up & detained without charges in the world's largest "democracy"
