We all win when we all win. Reparations are an economic stimulus - not a cost but a benefit. New study shows that if black families were as rich as white ones then our economy would be $1.5T bigger. cbsnews.com/news/racial-weal…

Do you see the problem with your statement? If there is 100bucks going around, it will be 100bucks. Everyone will be evenly poorer but a bigger economy. That being said, I think everyone deserve fair pay for their hard day of work regardless of race. But your rationale.

Reparations are a tax on everyone - including black people, reparations don't add anything to the economy.

Go tell that to families in Appalachia and other dirt poor parts of the country. Go tell them how "rich" they are while they're living in shacks. Reparations for modern day blacks because they MIGHT have an ancestor that was a slave is purely ignorant. Buying votes right?

So you’re saying redistribution of personal, earned wealth is OK. REALLY Marianne???

Its difficult when we are continually viewed as chattel and treated as such by the White powers to be viewed as economic superiors. They'd rather watch the country burn than to play fair. Slaves now being owners are their fear due to their history of demonic brutality of us.#ADOS

I also think that sometimes how reparations are to be paid is misunderstood. I thought this example was wonderful in the Caribbean where I am from jamaica-gleaner.com/article/…
