The Amazon burning is a reminder of humanity’s pathological irreverence toward the earth, a self-destructive dysfunction from which we will heal or possibly not even survive as a species. This is more than a climate crisis; it is a survival crisis, and it should be seen as such.

Like all other issues confronting us the climate crisis is a moral crisis. Humanity is at a crossroads: we need to choose between a system that allows greed to run rampant over the survival needs of the species, or a state of consciousness where such a thing would be unthinkable.

Our ability to take in the horror of what is happening environmentally & summon the courage to do something about it will determine the most critical choice in humanity’s history: whether to continue the journey of evolution or through our own selfishness & greed elect to end it.

The outer world reflects the inner world. We must heal ourselves and the planet will heal accordingly.

May also be more indicative of our pathological irreverence of ourselves. Our self-hatred and lack of self-awareness boils over into everything else.

So we have burning forests and melting glaciers, and those 20-30 thousand nukes are still out there too. And your fast, fast internet -- the 4G and 5G that powers it -- is destroying flying insect populations, which could (also) destroy the planet. Freud's death instinct lives.

Our current state of affairs is merely a reflection of the low level of awareness the human mind is functioning on. The more ego distortion, the lower the level, the more destruction. The more Love Infiltration, The Higher The Level, the more in sync with God’s original plan❤️🌏

I appreciate your highlighting the need to prioritize climate change policy. But if you haven't noticed, @GovInslee @JayInslee isn't polling well & this is his sole issue! Meanwhile, no one has touched the issue MLK elevated into a revolution. Will you?
Most Americans have never been taught anything about the "Negro American Revolution." This explains why educators, media, clergy, pundits and politicos struggle to understand today's socioeconomic and political battlegrounds. Just 53 years ago, the govt spelled it out. 1/13

Yes, agreed! And what is your policy on this? Do you strongly support #GreenNewDeal proposal in Congress? Tobin tax or other corp profits tax to fund serious change on #ClimateEmergency? Let's hear your actual policy please.
