Unfettered capitalism, disconnected from a sense of moral & ethical responsibility to people & planet, has done & continues to do immeasurable damage. It will only be changed by an awakening of We the People. The political establishment that enabled the trend will not reverse it.

If communism and capitalism can become corrupted, if a monarchy and a democracy can become corrupted, if the republican party and the democratic party can become corrupted. Then we aren't looking deep enough for solutions. There have been golden ages and dark ages.

Educate yourself on psychopathy, esp the ones that can manage to avoid detection and get into politics. Then spread awareness of political psychopaths and other predatory personalities. Once enough people know, they'll lose control. They're already losing a lot.
