Sorry Dear That is NOT going to happen. The country is not perfect but trying to erase its history get us nowhere. Say no to censorship

Marianne, you are my candidate. We cannot erase history, but we can atone and we can forgive. Idea: add an engraved plaque underneath Jackson's portrait saying in large letters "Never Forget the Trail of Tears" for all presidents who come after you! @BarackObama @NativeAmWisdom

Every President gets to chose portrait to the left of Resolute desk. Washington is over the fireplace. Will you remove the Jackson statue in Lafayette Square across the street? You seem nice but not all voters are dolts.

"The first problem with projects of cultural cleansing is that they must always, inevitably, be subjective. The people behind the destruction of a statue or an edifice or a monument of course believe themselves to be justified." As did those who erected them.

One of many things I admire about @marwilliamson She knows not just our #History but more importantly the emotional and psychological effects on our society and more importantly she CAN guide us towards healing. #Marianne2020

We'll replace it with a nice Buddha... I don't like most historical democrats any more than I like the current crop, but they're part of our history and whitewashing them only helps to serve the elites who desire power over our rights.
