The difference is that the US is already in Afghanistan. The US has a responsibility to her by virtue of her intervention.
The US cannot pull out of Afghanistan until the security and stability of that nation is secured. Ensuring the dignity and rights of women is one aspect of that which is relevant to the overall security of Afghanistan.

Oh. Hope will get us out of the longest wars in American history, just like it did the last time someone ran on that. She’s literally saying we’re going to stay in Afghanistan until terms the talibs won’t accept are met, but that’s fine because hope or whatever
