The US withdrawing troops from Afghanistan without ensuring the rights and protection of women is is unacceptable. The Taliban’s history of brutality towards women must not be forgotten or ignored in these negotiations. nytimes.com/2019/08/16/world…

Why don’t you take your ministry over there if you feel so strongly. It is with my child’s blood you want to clean up Muslim brutality. Not my child’s blood for this. If we are attacked then my children will fight until then. Pray.

The US government and military never cared about the women in Afghanistan. So decades after occupying their country and destroying everything within it, we can stop pretending to care.

Hmmm, so as @POTUS how would your “Dept of Peace” make this happen? Bc it looks like you just proved the Roman adage of “vis pacem, parem bellum”

American men should defend the rights of Afghani women with their lives. That's what you're saying?

Let's bring home with us every Afghan woman who wishes to come and her children.

Your faux concern for afghan women is disgusting. How many women, how many civilians, how many husbands and fathers have become collateral murder since the US invasion? How many children died of starvation due to the destruction of infrastructure and the economy?

All I care about is ensuring that they can no longer hurt us here at home. As for their women it is their own country. Imposing our views on them is no different than what terrorists try to do. If they want to change, it will take the will and effort of the people in that nation

Let's start a war with the entire middle east then. I thought we wanted out of endless wars. Staying there is wrong but getting out is too?
