Not sure why folks are being so tough on Future President Williamson here. She’s simply advocating for the kind of military intervention where we demand an undoing of centuries of cultural norms in a country without actually being tough with anyone. Piece of cake.

Afghanistan had a secular socialist government that protected women's rights.. until the US armed Islamic extremists and brought down that government. It then walked away allowing the Taliban to take over.
