Polls show 70% of Americans want to renew the assault weapon ban, but Repubs plan no action to do anything like that. So far this will be no different than any other mass shooting: Senate & White House will do NOTHING. Next question: what will we, the American people, do in 2020?

No it is not unconstitutional. Assault weapons were banned for years and then we allowed the ban to expire. During that time, there were only a fraction of the number of mass shootings. The assault weapons ban needs to be renewed.

Ardent Trump supporter BUT there is no need for assault type weapons to be in the hands of any American. I support a ban and a buy back. I do not police going door to door confiscating guns.

All of my rifles have pledged to not assault anyone. They self identify as DEFENSE rifles and would therefore be immune to assault weapon bans.

Because it's been demonstrated time and time again that just banning things doesn't work. See the "War on Drugs" or the "War on Terror". Why don't you "visualize" peace?... because that would accomplish much more than what you're doing now.
