We must outlaw all assault style weapons for civilian use. Even then, there will still be millions of them on the street. Next we need to outlaw the manufacture and sale of the bullets that they carry.

You have a magic wand that has only enough magic to perform one act. You debate whether to rid the world of guns, or rid the world of evil. Which do you choose?

I hope your spirit powers can block bullets, cause the only way you're taking mine is after you pass through the hail of my rounds.

There’s no such thing as an “assault” weapon. Assault is an action. Not a noun.

1st, learn the difference between a semi-automatic rifle & fully automatic rifle. An assault rifle is an automatic. Capable of automatic fire & or burst. The weapon used at the El Paso Walmart was a semi-automatic rifle. The "bullets" have nothing to do with classification.

There are no civilian assault weapons. Those scary “assault” weapons fire at the same rate as my 1870s era revolver. They just look scary. They are simply underpowered target/small game rifles. Most deer hunters carry far more powerful guns that shoot at the same rate.
