At a certain point it isn’t about what happened; it’s about who we choose to be regarding what happened. Each of us must rise to the occasion now, committing to the electoral defeat of any politician who supports the NRA. Gun safety legislation must be the cry of our generation.

Nope. Mental health should be the rallying cry when these events occur. That is the underlying cause.

We already have gun safety legislation. They have to close the loopholes. Who creates and maintains those loopholes is a devious group embedded within our culture.

While gun safety is a critical part of the process, we also must find out why has there been such a dramatic increase in these incidents. The pathology that is leading to the incidents won't go away with gun legislation. Next will be a deluge of suicide bombers and IED's.

Wow! Marianne, I really thought you, at least, had a soul, but before the smoke has cleared, you too have made this tragedy a political talking point. So much for praying and loving. You’re just a soft spoken version of the same old song.
