At a certain point it isn’t about what happened; it’s about who we choose to be regarding what happened. Each of us must rise to the occasion now, committing to the electoral defeat of any politician who supports the NRA. Gun safety legislation must be the cry of our generation.

I proudly support the NRA, a great group that advocates for responsible gun ownership. In no way are they to blame for what happened in Texas. The 2nd amendment must be supported, as guns are used in defense far more often than the rare mass shooting event.

Ma'am. You know not what you're talking about. If Politicians are serious about stopping mass shootings this is how: 1. Arm teachers at schools. 2. Tear down gun free zone signs. 3. Allow concealed carry in all public places. Problem solved.

Regardless of what your spirit guide told you, now is probably not the best time.

Try going into the hood in south central LA and tell them they need to register their firearms or turn them in. Evil people are going to kill weather it be with a vehicle, knife or ax handle. The NRA is not the problem. Godless people is the problem.

This is where we differ @marwilliamson , I think the mass shootings are an outcry for mental diseases and martyrdom, outlawing guns wont solve the issue. Only a bandaid to the deeper issue. Those to want to perpetuate violence will always find a way

I'm committed to the electoral defeat of any politician who supports capital punishment, and prefer politicians who support repeal of the Second Amendment.

How do you feel now knowing the shooter is a Democrat?

This is disappointing. Instead of addressing the severe mental illness problem in our society, you tow the party line. Good luck with your candidacy.

As long as governments have guns, people need to be allowed to have guns. The only solution is for no weapons to exist anywhere at all, which will never happen in this current civilization. Until then, guns will exist somewhere, regardless of gun legislation.
