So let’s state it again. I’m pro medicine. I’m pro science. I’ve never told anyone not to take medicine. I’ve never fat-shamed anyone. And today there’s a new one: no I don’t support Scientology. The machinery of mischaracterization is in high gear now. Gee, did I upset someone?

@marwilliamson Honestly your campaign fits perfectly with the Medicare For All proposal. You are running on campaign to heal the soul of America. Healing should be body and soul. Universal healthcare with no fees, Co-pays, deductibles, premiums etc will help so many people

It’s that one issue about telling people they can’t have private insurance. I have a problem with that one piece of it. I know all the arguments and I agree with them, actually. But I hesitate on that one thing. It’s a process. We have a while before I’m president:)

It's okay, I'm sure any international crisis will wait for months while you consult random people on Twitter.

Understatement of ever.
Hi I live in New Zealand, we have universal health but I also have private health insurance, cost me $140 NZ a month. If I’m in need of urgent medical I go private. If I’m hit by a car I’ll go to a state hospital
Where is the problem with free market? In Germany we can still choose which insurer we prefer, plus we have private insurance on top of that.
Private insurance will screw you every time. They try everything to avoid paying large bills. Private medical insurance is a scam. Hospitals owned by “nonprofits” are a scam, also. They build up millions ir a billion or two in assets but are still considered nonprofit. Why?

appreciate your honesty. A LOT.
“We have a while before I’m president” Yes. “Never” could be considered a subset of “a while.”
