If they had diabetes, would you prescribe insulin? If they had asthma, would you prescribe steroids? I would prescribe whatever they needed for their diagnosed condition. That’s how medications are used.

I don’t think there is any disagreement among experts about the prescription of insulin, for instance. Whereas views differ about prescribing amphetamines for ADHD.

Nonsense. There’s lots of *agreement* about stimulants improving concentration, combating lethargy, etc. There’s plenty of research and this is incontroversial. Less obvious is stimulant use for the disorder in question long term.
