The issue of gun safety, of course, is that the NRA has us in a chokehold. But so do the pharmaceutical companies, so do the health insurance companies, so do the fossil fuel companies and so do the defense contractors.

U have 2 accept the constitution of 1776 did not set forth an ideal of thriving for all citizens. Federal govt designed 2protect the rich, powerful, elite governing class by using laws 2 tip the scales in their favor. We will never have equality w/this federal govt design

The American public doesn't grasp the breadth of corporate control over all aspects of our lives. How much they're funding laws being passed in their favors. How much power the huge capital they hold has. Money is power concentrated. And they have it almost limitlessly.
