We need to recognize that when it comes to the economic gap between blacks and whites in America, it does come from a great injustice that has never been dealt with. #DemDebate #BigTruth #Marianne2020 #Reparations

That great injustice has had to do with the fact that there was 250 years of slavery followed by another hundred years of domestic terrorism. #Reparations #DemDebate #Marianne2020

Uh... correction Civil War had less to do w/slavery than the North wanting to remove the economic stronghold the South had on them, it was about money not the morality Hollywood portrays or revisionist history. Read a damn book!
No Reconstruction occurred in fact just your KKK and unions designed to commit terrorism on freedman and keep us out. Next exploitation of 13th Amendment, again enslavement by a different name, enter Jim Crow, segregation etc. Read a damn book!
You gave us nothing! We have fought and died for meager gains! Our relationship with this country has been an abusive one, do cease and desist with acting like you’ve done us favor. It wld be nicer to say thank you for my foundation of privilege!
Thank you. That’s for one of the groups that is in question. There will be quite a bit of inter-group intermediation, apparently. This means a determination/settlement pro rata.
Net of what we collectively as Americans owe them. Including you. See earlier thread.
Haha so ironic you’re telling me to “go back where you came from”
Anyway. The net result will be a net nothing exchange between all 3 parties. Money owed by slaveholders to slaves will be shared with families that sacrificed lives to free said slaves. All will be shared between everyone with native Americans. Courts will fight for decades.
Seems like lawyers and pundits and will gain. An exercise in futility?
Thanks guy. We should actually meet for a beer or tea sometime. Do you see how close we are? I appreciate it.
