Words matter. We need to destigmatize mental health care, @marwilliamson, and you’re doing just the opposite. The medication you’re attacking does a lot of good for a lot of people.
Marianne Williamson is skeptical of antidepressants and said as much after Kate Spade killed herself last summer in a tweet that appeared insensitive to mental illness. Now she's defending the tweet. huffp.st/kg8mnS6

Wow, Seth. I would’ve expected better from you. That smear of me is a complete mischaracterization of my life and career, and I thought the Democratic candidates were going to be treating each other with greater respect. marianne2020.com/posts/im-a-…

Good points in your article. Seth is very courageous in speaking out about mental health issues and stigma. He is a good guy.
Congressman Moulton is stating facts. Words matter. He's citing your Tweets and your words. You have a powerful platform and it's irresponsible to use it to cast any doubt on the necessity or efficacy of medications. You are not a licensed medical doctor. 🤷

I expect better of you. Couple this w your past anti-vaxx stance I frankly feel you shouldn't be allowed on that stage.

He's not smearing you. He's concerned about mental health stigma. Stay focused. You stick together with the Democrats.

If you're looking for better from @sethmoulton you're setting yourself up for a lot of disappointments.
Anti-depressants saved me from crippling depression. After I worked with my Dr to find the right medication + dosage, I got to a place where I could function, heal, and ultimately thrive. Your comments demonizing anti-depressants strengthen mental illness stigmatization. Go away
