There are millions of children who go to school hungry every day in America, asking their teachers if maybe they have some food for them. But Trump will now get his $2.5B for a wall. This is how deeply, insanely our political values have strayed from love. google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes…

Last year: 59billion for Dept of Ed. 75Billion 4 food stamps. Billions more @ state programs. Whatever reason kids go hungry it's not due 2 a lack of spending & problem was here long before the juvenile in the White House

25 per cent of food stamps are used for junk food. That isn't love.

With the wall + other immigration reforms, less money will have to be spent dealing with the consequences of illegal aliens. Drugs, communicable diseases, health care & housing for them, child prostitution, etc... That money can then be spent on our people and their needs.

And still we have the money to feed, cloth & educate illegal aliens.

Of the topics you bring up, border security is the only responsibility the federal government has defined in the Constitution. I know you must know that.

The problem with your argument is that we spend approximately 115 billion per year on illegals now which is nearly 50 times more and not a one time charge but a ongoing yearly cost. No comparison

yep. makes it plainly obvious that we do have the means, but the despots in charge just want it for themselves and their games.

Idiotic tweet. Democrats can start talking about worrying about children and homelessness when they stop importing more homeless people from other countries. Until then, put a sock in it
