Marianne, then why stop there? Why didn’t you make all the “white” people (whatever that means) apologize to any Japanese people in the room for putting their ancestors in internment camps during WWII? Any Germans apologize to Jews in the room? Where does this nonsequitur stop?

Every race is practicing slavery at some point in history. The way I see it you should be happy that you were born in America instead of some third world country where rape, starvation and killing is the norm.
