Completely, horribly, almost unbelievably true. Many people who are very savvy about abusers and sociopaths when it comes to their personal lives, seem to have a blind spot when abusers or sociopaths are acting as institutions or on a large public stage.
People want to believe that only monsters commit mass abuses & atrocities. But it’s actually ordinary people, “just doing their jobs” and “just following orders”, who make horrors happen. Photos of Auschwitz personnel, 1944. rarehistoricalphotos.com/lau…

#NeverAgain Just as we didn't only dismantle the SS, we won't solve today's horrors if we only #AbolishICE. Homeland Security was formed unconstitutionally in the wake of 9/11 to spread xenophobia based on Nazi ideology. Abuse of migrants is a feature, not a bug. #AbolishDHS

About "i obey the orders", in Usa in 1970 a very great conflict of opinions borned after the My Lay carnage. In my country the massacres done by italians to jews, Sud Tirol, jugoslavians, Russians, Etiopian and Eritrean peple was not judge for many mistaken reasons.

I find it offensive that @CNN is having an all white debate. I don't believe that you're in any way responsible, but you should say something about it on air. It needs to be addressed.

I know you didn’t start this, but whoever determined that people have permission to use the holocaust for political canon fodder should rethink their life choices. We, who’s parents saw the carnage before their very eyes, and have shed blood for Israel, expect you to reel it in.
