"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." - MLKJr. A meaningful thing all of us can do today is ask ourselves, "What can I do today to add to the cry of national outrage at the inhumane way that immigrants are being treated?" Silence=complicity.

"Qui tacet consentire videtur." Silence implies consent. Let us together loudly repeal & repudiate any/all indecencies, darkness, & unconscionable intents/acts upon US.

Instead of “adding to the cry,” would it not be much more beneficial to spend our energy acting to prevent the causes of the situation? Pushing the nation that has one of the highest levels of legal immigration and forcing more upon them illegally will necessarily cause anger.

Of course, we must protect our borders and enforce our laws. If any American was at the border and saw a family being chased, fleeing gunmen shooting at them, and trying to cross the border to save their lives, would you block them or allow them in and separate the family? Sad.
