"There’s not one U.S. city or county where someone working a 40-hr wk on min wage of $7.25 can afford to rent a modest 2-bed apartment. Minimum wage workers need to work 3 full time jobs to make modest 2-bed rental home affordable." - National Low Income Housing Coalition Report

Every resident of the U.S.A should be given a free 3,000 sq ft smart home. The minimum wage is for kids and other low skilled and or talented individuals. Not making fun of them, it's simply a fact. Supply and demand is still the gold standard.

Easily could if the IRS wasn't stealing their income.

Q: how many folks are out there working 40 hrs per week at $7.25?

Everyone working minimum wage is working for the employer who will pay them more than anyone else. Entry level minimum wage jobs should not be a career path. PS: Iran is an evil regime. The nuke deal with them propped up their oppressive regime.

There never has .
Isn't that ridiculous? Not to mention that you can't realistically get married, raise kids, save money, afford medical care, etc. You can't spend what you don't have, so you're not making any impact on economic growth. This is a vicious cycle that seems to be getting worse.
