I was thinking more about apartments and rentals. They say apartments are priced to what the market can bear, but for whom? Only the rich? Folks are getting priced out of their homes and laws are being made against seeking shelter in their cars. What gives?

@Jack24932350 , you’re right. People do need to be responsible and sometimes that means getting roommates. But the trend of the past 40 years must be reversed. The current trend will drive all but the top 0.1% into inescapable poverty. avg workers are not being fairly compensated

Minimum wage pay was never intended to sustain a family. It’s much more complicated than simply ‘hey, raise minimum wage’
