Great interview - conscious capitalism is about being reasonable adults and taking the perspectives of others into account when crafting and enforcing regulations.

I don't know if the goal is to sell people materialistic goods preying on their insecurity, I don't know if that can ever be honest. When companies put their bottom line before anything else I don't think that could ever have a conscience.

Government regulation is the only way. Just as when the government worked to create a 40 hour work week and OSHA to keep employees safe. The government needs to step in again to help improve standards for most of the working class.
